One of the biggest Deepavali Bazaar KL 2026 traffic changes affects Brickfields.
According to KLCCC, a section of Jalan Tun Sambanthan 1 is fully closed to accommodate bazaar preparations.
The affected stretch runs from the church entrance towards the Jalan Tamby Abdullah 1 intersection.
The outdoor stall setup and dismantling period began on October 4 and is scheduled to continue until the early morning of November 10.
Meanwhile, preparations involving the parking area at the DBKL Sports and Recreation Centre in Brickfields extend until November 11.
The road closure therefore lasts longer than the bazaar itself.

Current Status: Road Closure at Masjid India Bazaar
The Masjid India bazaar is also operating under temporary traffic arrangements.
DBKL has announced the closure of one lane along part of Jalan Bunus 6, near Semua House.

The stall setup and dismantling period runs from October 2 at 10 AM until November 9 at 10 PM.
Importantly, this is a one-lane closure along the specified stretch, not a confirmed full closure of Jalan Bunus 6.
Visitors should pay attention to temporary traffic signs and follow updated routes where necessary.
