What Malaysian Investors Should Know
The current September 28 to October 11 application period applies to eligible Bumiputera investors seeking the MITI allocation.
The KK Mart IPO has not yet reached the stage where all Malaysian retail investors can automatically subscribe through the normal public balloting process.
The Securities Commission’s prospectus exposure page also notes that the currently published prospectus remains an exposure document and should not itself be treated as a registered prospectus for making an investment application. SC
What Comes Next
Attention will now turn to the final IPO pricing, registered prospectus, public application dates and official listing timetable.
Once completed, the KK Mart IPO would bring one of Malaysia’s most recognisable convenience-store chains onto Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market.
